Kofi Nartey, MBA

The Sports & Entertainment Society was created by industry leader Kofi  Nartey. His goal in creating the Society was to connect and expand his vast network of professional celebrity, athlete, and entertainer service providers. The secondary goal was to provide industry resources and support for those looking to get into this niche. Kofi was the founder and National Director of Compass’s Sports & Entertainment Division and afterwards went on to start his own private real estate firm SOCIETY Real Estate + Development.  Kofi is also a Certified Luxury Homes Marketing Specialist, and the Managing Director of The Nartey Group.

He attended and played football at the University of California at Berkeley, signed as a free-agent wide-receiver with the Oakland Raiders, and later completed his MBA in the Presidential and Key Executive Program at Pepperdine University. He also frequents the other side of the podium as a guest and as an ongoing speaker and trainer for the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing and Leaders in Luxury.  Kofi is also the only real estate agent in the country with a consulting agreement with the NFL to provide ongoing career development and real estate mentorship for current and retired players.

Prior to real estate, Kofi successfully worked as an actor for over 10 years, with roles in numerous national commercials, television shows such as Modern Family, Psych, Numbers, and True Blood, and films including Kick-Ass and Fast and Furious. He brings his vast industry contacts and experience to the sports and entertainment industry. His understanding of the sports and entertainment niche has enabled him to effectively service hundreds of  professional athletes, entertainers, and distinguished clientele. It has also enabled him the opportunity to consult over a dozen companies on launching Sports & Entertainment Divisions.

Kofi has been a correspondent on celebrity and luxury real estate for over 100 national television and print media outlets including The Wall Street Journal, LA Times, Chicago Tribune, CBS, CNBC, NBC Sports Bloomberg, Fox Business News, ESPN, CNN Money, The Insider, and others. He was also a regular featured agent on HGTV’s Selling LA, and has made numerous appearances on Million Dollar Listing and Hollywood Today Live. In 2017, Kofi released his book Sellebrity: How to Build a Successful Sports & Entertainment Based Business. He continues to consult and build businesses, and strives to elevate the sports and entertainment service industries.

Nartey has also been named to the “Hollywood Showbiz Real Estate Elite” by Variety Magazine and as one of the “Top 30 Hollywood Real Estate Agents” by the Hollywood Reporter. His ultimate goal is to bring continued value to his clients, his network, and the sports and entertainment industries as a whole.

Kofi is based in Beverly Hills and lives in Playa Vista with his wife Mimi, daughter Liya, and son Lincoln.
